Alencon Systems, Inc. is dedicated to the design and manufacturing of power conversion and harvesting systems that are highly modular and scalable up to 100MW.
Located in the USA, Alencon's goal is to provide quality equipment that was specifically developed to be manufactured in the USA for both domestic use and export.
With a collection of GrIPs in a centralized inverter system, installation labor, cost and complexity are reduced drastically. The elevated input voltage of an Alencon system allows the realization of conduction losses not exceeding 1%. Additionally, conductor sizes can be reduced by up to 16 times when compared to a common PV system.
System up-times can now reach 100%, and cuts in production of 10% or more due to inverter failures are consequently eliminated. The centralization of inverters also allows for cost effective water-cooling. Adiabatic or geothermal water cooling systems are a part of our complete solution and provide a steady stream of 50-60°F water. This means that when others have to shut down or reduce output, Alencon inverter systems continue to provide full power.
All this, in combination with the tremendous capacity of up to 100MW per system, makes Alencon systems the first truly utility-sized options for PV installations.
